The 8310 is one of the best smartphones on the market today. It is equipped with the latest Windows Mobile 5, WiFi and EDGE support, and a fine display. That display is able to show only 65K colours. In reality you will not be able to tell the difference from a 262K colour competitor. The important factor here is the resolution: 240x320 pixels, which gives a crisp image. The display is bright and clearly visible from any point of view.
Inside there’s a Texas Instruments OMAP850 processor working at 195MHz. The 8310’s speed is not bad at all, in fact.
It needs more memory. Only 18MB is available for user data. So you’ll probably need an expansion card – there’s a slot for miniSD cards, inconveniently sited below the battery.
The camera is a disappointment because the quality of the pictures is really very low.
The Qtek 8310 supports all four GSM frequencies. The phone lacks 3G, but it does have WiFi.
