O2 reaches for the stars with its new smartphone. Running Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC and coming bundled with GPS the O2 Orbit looks to be the perfect mobile office.
The O2 Orbit is an updated version of the XDA. Measuring just 108 x 58 x 16.8 mm this handset packs in quite a lot including an FM radio, WiFi, and comes bundled with TomTom6.
As well as listening to your favourite radio stations, the FM radio can also be used in conjunction with TomTom, providing dynamic traffic information on the move.
Navigation of the Windows OS is easy thanks to a new trackball, and a scroll wheel, as well as the large 65000 colour 2.2x1.6 inch touchscreen display.
Although it carries an mp3/AAC player, when it comes to memory the handset is lacking a bit on the small side, with only 128mb, but it is expandable thanks to a mircoSD card slot.
Being a Windows Mobile 5.0 device, the O2 Orbit will also benefit from Direct Push email from Microsoft Exchange Server.
