At Nokia’s Capital Market Days event for analysts and key customers, much of the focus was on competitive opportunities in the enterprise market.
• The Eseries has been taken by more than 160 operators globally and has shipped more than 1.6m units.
• Nokia has sold more than 1m licenses for its Intellisync Mobile Suite “white label” email solution to date, with more than 21 new operator wins since the acquisition of Intellisync back in February. More than 4,000 Intellisync servers have been installed for 2,500 enterprise customers.
• Nokia has established a multichannel distribution system to reach customers through operators but also IT channels. Since October, more than 370 partners have joined the Nokia for Business Channel Program giving Nokia access to more than 20,000 outside salespeople in more than 140 countries; around half are also Cisco, Alcatel or Avaya partners and approximately 30% are Microsoft partners.
