Three mobile projects picked up awards at the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards last month. Zed Media took the Travel award for the mobile element of a £2m British Airways cross-media promotion (Zed created a free downloadable Java application for mobile handsets that provided an insider’s guide to London).
The Best Use of Wireless award went to Mobile Interactive Group for its work with O2 on a mobile ticketing competition for the London Live 8 concert. And mobile ticketing also figured in a Special Award for Innovation which went to Mobiqa for its mobi-pass application.
