Growth of the global mobile phone market slowed in Q2 2006, says Gartner – but the 229m units shifted still represent an increase of 18.3% on the same period last year. It’s just that Q1 saw 23.8% growth. Gartner said the market was still on track to reach 960m phones in 2006.
