easyMobile is attempting to break out of its existing web-only operation and into high-street retail, initially via a three-month exclusive with The Link. It aims to expand into other retailers after that time.
Consumers will be able to buy an easyMobile phone with £10 worth of airtime from around £24.99; handsets available include the RAZR V3 Blue and Nokia’s 1600,3220 and 5140i.
All of the MVNO’s logistics and fulfilment both for online and third- party sales will now be handled by 20:20,which will also be configuring
and packaging handsets for easyMobile.
easyMobile has made it clear that it wants all non-core activities – such as logistics – to be handled by outsource partners such as 20:20.
