BT has introduced the Navig8 mobile navigation as a service to its BlackBerry customers, the first dedicated BlackBerry navigation offer from a European mobile network operator.
Navig8, powered by Wisepilot from Appello, was launched exclusively by Elite Mobile in the UK at the end of 2005.
“This is another big step for us”, said Appello CEO Leif Sundström.
“BT has a very interesting and unique approach where the navigation service is part of a bundled offer on their BlackBerry devices.”
