BlackBerry maker RIM has settled its trademark infringement lawsuit against Samsung over the latter’s ‘BlackJack’ smartphone. Details weren’t revealed but the deal does include limitations on use of the BlackJack name. The suit had alleged unfair competition and “trademark dilution” – the BlackJack (aka i600) is a full-QWERTY phone aimed at email users, just like the BlackBerry. And it’s black.
